Adam was a Healthy Schools Practitioner before moving to Jigsaw, where he focussed on developing a whole school approach to supporting heath and wellbeing. Firmly believing that positive health and wellbeing is a key factor to learning for all pupils. The role required policy writing, delivering training that supports current health issues, as well as providing guidance and support to schools on specific health interventions.
Additionally, Adam was Project Coordinator for the Inspire 2 Achieve service, where the aim was to support secondary pupils who were disengaging with education. Providing additional wellbeing support to hopefully improve a pupils’ attainment, attendance or behaviour.
Adam has also previously worked as a tutor for alternative education. Supporting pupils back into mainstream school as well as providing them with key life skills to transition onto Further Education or employment.
Outside of work Adam is a huge football fan, supporting Arsenal, as well as playing for his local team. Also, enjoys participating in a range of activities; swimming, cycling, running and golf. Enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as travel and explore new locations.
