Phil Allman

Phil’s career in education spans 30 years and 3 continents. As a teacher, senior leader and Headteacher Phil has had the privilege of seeing the development of children in England, Scotland, China, the Middle East and Singapore in Primary, Middle and All-Through settings.

As a former pastoral lead and Head of RE as well as a Head for 16 years, Phil is passionate about improving the lives of children through an understanding of the approaches that form the core of the Jigsaw philosophy and mission. 

Phil and his wife went to Beijing with no pets and returned with the two most expensive street dogs in the world. They replaced his three, now grown-up, children. When he’s not walking the dogs in the countryside, he will be found watching rugby or cricket.
