Welcome to Jigsaw's free RSHE mini-courses for both primary and secondary teachers! These expert-led webinars are designed to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to deliver high-quality Relationships and Sex Education (RSHE) and Sex-Ed in your classroom.

For primary teachers, we’ll guide you through topics like building healthy connections, teaching puberty, and introducing human reproduction in a sensitive, age-appropriate way. For secondary teachers, we focus on critical areas such as the menstrual cycle, contraception, STIs, fertility, and delivering effective sex education.

Each session is packed with practical strategies, teaching resources, and the latest information to help you engage students and create a safe, inclusive environment for learning. Learn how to use Jigsaw's support materials to enhance teaching confidence and about approaches for sharing sensitive content appropriately with teaching colleagues. Examine a comprehensive overview of how the cycle of hormones influences body systems, such as the reproductive system and the central nervous system, to help you deliver lessons to young people in a way that addresses the physical need for and management of the menstrual cycle, and crucially help students understand how thoughts and feelings can change throughout it.

Learn why we need to deliver high quality relationships and sex ed in schools and what should and shouldn’t be included in these lessons. We will also highlight where these lessons are, and how they are structured so that students can incorporate their learning into their own current or future relationships.​

Gain up-to-date information on contraceptive choices, and learn how to ​encourage young people to develop the social and communication skills needed to discuss and manage contraception (and possibly STIs) within a relationship, and discuss when this kind of learning becomes age appropriate.
