The Jigsaw x Real Direction competition gives secondary schools the chance to turn a student-relevant PSHE, safeguarding, wellbeing, relationships or online safety idea into a professionally produced educational video.
Schools take part in four short filmmaking masterclasses to develop their idea before submitting a proposal. One winning school will then work with Jigsaw and Real Direction to bring their idea to life, with students involved in the production. It’s a chance for young people to have their voices heard and create something that could help others too.

Once you’ve watched the full masterclass series, you’ll be able to submit your application and competition entry. Please note: the competition submission deadline will be Friday 6th November 2026.
