International Day of Play

At Jigsaw, we believe that play is more than just fun—it’s a powerful tool for learning, connection, and expression. That’s why we’re proud to support the International Day of Play (11th June 2025) with a free resource pack designed to bring creativity, curiosity, and meaningful reflection into your Religious Education teaching.

Rooted in the principle that play helps children make sense of the world around them, these activities invite pupils to explore different religions and worldviews through movement, imagination, storytelling, and sensory experiences. They’re designed to align with the Jigsaw RE curriculum but can be adapted for use in any setting, offering teachers a flexible and engaging way to promote spiritual, moral, and cultural understanding.

Whether you're planning a whole-school celebration or a reflective classroom session, these play-based activities will help you mark the day in a meaningful and inclusive way.
