Join our Jigsaw webinar 'Using the Emotional Literacy resources to strengthen Jigsaw PSHE', led by Amy Jones & Hayley Allen.
Together Amy and Hayley bring 30 years of experience in education, both specialising in Early Years. At present, Hayley is a Specialist Leader of education in PSHE supporting schools across her Trust. Amy is our Programme Lead for Jigsaw Outdoors and Games, and an EYFS and Primary PSHE Specialist at Jigsaw.
They are excited to share our brand-new Emotional Literacy resources, designed to help teachers extend and deepen the emotional learning already embedded across every Jigsaw puzzle. This webinar will explore. A range of flexible, classroom-ready resources that help build children’s emotional vocabulary and self-regulation skills progressively from ages 5–11, building on emotional vocabulary introduced at ages 3-5 years. This session will show you exactly how these new resources support your existing Jigsaw teaching.
You’ll get a full introduction to what’s included:
- Progressive emotional vocabulary linked to each Jigsaw Puzzle
- Teacher guidance (for KS1, Lower KS2 and Upper KS2)
- Feelings scale
- Emotion coaching prompts
- The STAR Framework
- Ready-to-use classroom display resources
